Crazy Mummy Mystery
Crazy Mummy Mystery Adventure Game By Vijay, Mark, Alok, Paul:
This crazy mummy hunt adventure game included multiple levels that has mazes with increasing difficulty as the game progresses. A concept for this game would be that the adventurer or player falls into an ancient temple place where they are age reversed. This game includes multiple top-down maze scenes as the easy, medium, and hard levels were developed to have the player having to maintain their health while navigating around maze obstacles to find and collect all keys so that the door at the end of each level can be opened. The player has to preserve their health and if they lose all of their health because of contact with traps or following enemies, they have to restart the level. The automatically following enemies on each level can affect the player's progress and decrease the player's health if the enemies make contact with the player. The player is chased instantly by the enemies that automatically follow the player throughout the levels and the player is chased by the other type of enemy only when the player is in close encounter with those enemies. When the player hits a spike trap, it restarts the player to the beginning of each level whenever the player moves over the spike trap. When the player is hit by a swing trap, the player's health is decreased. When the player is hit by poison darts, this decreases the player's health. When sleep darts hit the player, the player is paused temporarily. There was lighting emitted from the player in this level and there was a dark setting to limit the player’s visibility of surrounding enemies, traps, and obstacles. There is also a mini map that helps the player have a better awareness about other enemies locations and to help the player better avoid enemies and traps set throughout the levels.
Obstacles: closely placed walls, following enemies, and spike, swing, poison darts, and sleep darts
Traps: spikes that restart player to beginning of maze level, swing traps that decrease the player's health, poison darts that decrease the player's health, and sleep darts that pause the player's motion

I like the maze aspect of the game. I think the sound effects are really good. There are sounds for the swinging blade and the spikes, which I think is a nice touch. The music and the enemy noise added onto the spooky atmosphere. However, I think the enemy should also have health like the players since it sometimes dies too fast for have an impact.
For a maze, I feel like the minimap defeats the purpose since you can see where everything is and every path. The navmesh could also have been configured so that it doesn't do the maze for you. Other than that I like how you have to go through the maze to see what you need to do.
This game is pretty cool. The game layout is quite appropriate for the theme of mummy and the bgm did help
generate the tense chasing situation. However, the game could be improved by lightning up the mini map at the
right corner. It is understandable that the map needs to be dark, however with both maps being darked, and without hint of level goal, players could be repeatedly dying without finishing the first level. Either the map could be easier to see or a hint of level goal could be implied at the start of the game. What's more, the running speed of the mummy might be relatively too fast, although making it easier to get rid of the bad mummy chasing it, the running speed makes the character less controllable.
